Dear Lord,
Help me to wait. Help me to find peace while I am waiting. Help me not to sink into negative expectations, half-formed truths, and unfounded assumptions as I wait on others, as I wait on myself, and as I wait on your perfect providence.
Patience: capacity for waiting; the ability to endure waiting, delay, or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset, or to persevere calmly when faced with difficulties.
Help me to find patience. Help me find the calm and serenity of countenance which is only right and pure through your perfect ways.
Some things are worth the wait…some things aren’t. Help me to know the difference. Help me to see Your way and to trust in it!
