As a Christian, This is What I Believe
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. I believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
I believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.
I believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation.
I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. *

I believe in the Five Steps to Salvation:
1. Hear
- Acts 15:7: "After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, "Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by the mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.""
- Romans 10:17: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
2. Believe
- Acts 15:7: "After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, "Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by the mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.""
3. Repent
- Luke 24:47: "and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem."
- Acts 2:38: "Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.""
4. Confess
- Matthew 10:32: "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in Heaven."
- Romans 10:9-10: "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
5. Be Baptized
- Acts 2:38: "Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.""
- Romans 6:4: "Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life."
